THE ROLE
As a Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for supporting the Aftersales Manager in the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Allocating and controlling workshop jobs to maximise productivity
andmiddot;Monitoring job progress and keeping the Service team updated
andmiddot;Carrying out quality control checks and final vehicle inspections
andmiddot;Managing labour utilisation, workshop equipment, and consumables
andmiddot;Ensuring compliance with manufacturer, warranty, and health & safety standards
andmiddot;Supporting, motivating, and developing workshop staff
andmiddot;Maintaining a safe, organised, and professional workshop environment
andmiddot;Helping to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and operational performance

ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Service Advisor
andmiddot;Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
andmiddot;Excellent workshop planning and time management abilities
andmiddot;A customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality
andmiddot;Good IT and administrative skills
andmiddot;The ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
andmiddot;Full UK Manual Driving Licence
