Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Town Planning Consultancy who provide specialist services to the residential, retail, offices, and commercial sectors. They are on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Oxford.

Duties for the role of Senior Town Planner:

  • Significant experience working within a planning consultancy, developer or local authority environment
  • A strong understanding of the UK planning system and development management
  • Experience managing planning applications from inception through to determination
  • Experience dealing with planning authorities and negotiating planning issues
  • Excellent report-writing and analytical skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand clients' objectives
  • The confidence to manage projects and communicate effectively with clients and consultants
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to planning challenges
