Location: Walsall
Hours: Full Time, 38 hours per week
- Monday to Wednesday: 6:00am - 4:00pm
- Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Optional overtime available on Fridays
Pay Rate: -13.00 per hour
Training: Full training provided
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role within a production environment. Full training will be provided, making this position suitable for both experienced candidates and those looking to develop a career in manufacturing.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured, assembled, inspected, and prepared to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assembling and manufacturing products in line with production specifications
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Packing and preparing completed products for dispatch
- Monitoring production processes and reporting any faults or issues
- Maintaining accurate production records where required
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
Skills & Experience
- Previous production, manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills
- Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
