Working Hours: 5-6 days per week

Intrepid Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) for an ongoing block booking opportunity at HMP & YOI Norwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking for consistent agency work within a secure healthcare environment.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare to individuals within the prison setting, supporting their physical and mental health needs while maintaining professional clinical standards.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide nursing assessments, treatment, medication management and ongoing patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake comprehensive nursing assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients within the prison environment.
Administer prescribed medications in accordance with clinical policies and procedures.
Monitor patients' physical and mental health and identify any deterioration.
Respond to medical emergencies and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
Manage patients with long-term conditions and ongoing healthcare needs.
Undertake wound care, dressings, observations and other relevant clinical procedures.
Promote health education and encourage positive lifestyle choices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation.
Work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, mental health teams and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
Follow prison security procedures, safeguarding policies and infection prevention protocol
