The Role
As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Tester, you'll play a key role within the workshop, ensuring vehicles meet the highest safety and manufacturer standards while supporting the service department with inspections and light mechanical work.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
andmiddot;Completing vehicle health checks and reporting repair requirements
andmiddot;Performing light servicing and PDI inspections
andmiddot;Inspecting brakes, tyres, suspension, steering, lighting and electrical systems
andmiddot;Completing accurate workshop and MOT documentation
andmiddot;Carrying out minor repairs where required
andmiddot;Road testing vehicles following repairs when necessary
andmiddot;Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
About You
This opportunity would suit an MOT Tester / Vehicle Tester / Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic who has:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
andmiddot;A valid MOT Tester Licence
andmiddot;Previous experience carrying out MOT testing and vehicle inspections
andmiddot;Experience with servicing and light mechanical repairs
andmiddot;A full UK Driving Licence
andmiddot;Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
andmiddot;A positive attitude and willingness to develop through manufacturer training
