The Role
As an MET Technician / Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician, you'll be responsible for dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring every repair is completed safely and to the highest possible standard.

Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components.
andmiddot;Diagnosing damaged parts requiring repair or replacement.
andmiddot;Carrying out vehicle strip and refit work following manufacturer repair methods.
andmiddot;Working closely with Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians and Vehicle Damage Assessors to maintain an efficient repair process.
andmiddot;Ensuring all safety systems, electrical components and vehicle functions operate correctly before handover.
andmiddot;Maintaining accurate records of completed work and reporting any additional damage identified during repairs.
andmiddot;Following manufacturer specifications and all health and safety procedures.
andmiddot;Delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting productivity targets.

About You
We're looking for an experienced MET Technician / Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician / Strip & Fit Technician who takes pride in producing safe, high-quality repairs.

The ideal candidate will have:
andmiddot;Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fit Technician or Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop.
andmiddot;Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
andmiddot;Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
andmiddot;The ability to remove and refit vehicle components efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
andmiddot;Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and manufacturer repair methods.
andmiddot;A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
andmiddot;A full UK driving licence.
