Service & Breakdown Engineer (ASHP) - Social Housing

Manchester

£40,000 per annum

We are currently seeking an experienced Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a growing team delivering maintenance and repair services within the Social Housing sector across Manchester and surrounding areas.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing heating systems within occupied social housing properties, with a strong focus on Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs). The successful candidate will provide a high-quality service while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair Air Source Heat Pump systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and certification.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to tenants in occupied properties.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service & Breakdown Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working on Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs).
  • Experience within the Social Housing sector desirable.
  • Relevant plumbing, heating or renewable qualifications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
