Faandccedil;ade Designer - Coventry

I'm currently working with a specialist faandccedil;ade contractor looking to appoint a Faandccedil;ade Designer to support their growing pipeline of curtain walling and glazing projects.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on with technical detailing and working closely with a team in an office-based environment.

About the Company
My client is a well-established contractor within the faandccedil;ade and glazing sector, delivering bespoke curtain walling, structural glazing and cladding solutions across a range of commercial and residential schemes.

They are known for producing practical, buildable designs and maintaining a strong focus on technical quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The Opportunity
This is a fully office-based role (five days a week), ideal for someone who values direct collaboration with colleagues, quick decision-making and close involvement in the design process.

You'll play a key role in developing faandccedil;ade designs from concept through to construction, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed faandccedil;ade drawings for curtain walling and glazing systems

Develop technical details in line with architectural and project requirements

Coordinate with architects, contractors and internal teams

Ensure designs comply with relevant UK standards and CWCT guidance

Support projects through design, manufacture and installation stages

Assist with resolving technical queries during delivery

What They're Looking For?
Experience as a Faandccedil;ade Designer, Cladding Designer or similar

Strong understanding of curtain walling and glazing systems

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit beneficial)

Knowledge of CWCT standards and UK building regulations

A practical understanding of how faandccedil;ade systems are installed

Projects You'll Work On
You'll be involved in a mix of faandccedil;ade and glazing packages, including:

Commercial developments

Residential schemes

Curtain walling and bespoke glazing systems
