Electrician - Domestic & Light Commercial

Location: Ellesmere, SY12 0AN - Travel within this area required
Salary: £37,500 - £42,500 per annum, depending on experience
Contract: Full time, Permanent - 42.5 hours per week

Princes LHS Ltd is a well-established electrical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality and reliability.

We're now looking for a skilled and self-motivated Electrician to join our growing team, working across domestic and light commercial installations.

This varied and hands-on role will involve a broad range of electrical works, including:

• Domestic electrical installation and maintenance
• Inspection, testing, remedial works
• Light commercial rewiring and refurbishments
• Possible involvement in wiring for heat pumps, underfloor heating, S plans
• Potential installation of car chargers, solar PV, and battery storage systems
• Occasional working away (expenses covered)

You'll be working on jobs within 1 hour of our office (travel paid one way) and occasionally further afield.

We're looking for someone who brings more than just technical know-how.

You should be:

• Hardworking, reliable and self-motivated
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently using your own initiative
• A great communicator, comfortable liaising with both clients and colleagues
• Confident completing on-site paperwork such as EICRs, minor works certificates, job sheets and risk assessments

What You'll Need

• Industry-recognised electrical qualifications
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
• Inspection & Testing qualification (preferred)
• Experience with domestic installations essential
• Experience in new builds or renewable tech (solar PV, EV chargers, etc.) a bonus
