As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be supporting the team in delivering exceptional electrical design solutions across a range of projects.


You will be:

andmiddot;Taking ownership of high-quality electrical designs and specifications, ensuring they meet client requirements and project briefs
andmiddot;Providing expert technical advice across electrical building services engineering
andmiddot;Supporting and contributing to project design meetings
andmiddot;Working closely with clients, architects, contractors and wider project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery
andmiddot;Producing electrical designs, calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documentation
andmiddot;Ensuring electrical designs comply with relevant building regulations, industry standards and internal design requirements
andmiddot;Championing sustainable electrical design solutions and identifying opportunities to improve project performance

You will:

andmiddot;Hold a degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
andmiddot;Be a member of CIBSE or the IET
andmiddot;Be a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
andmiddot;Have strong technical knowledge and proven experience within electrical building services engineering
andmiddot;Have a good understanding of relevant electrical regulations, standards and design principles
andmiddot;Have experience producing electrical designs, specifications and technical documentation
andmiddot;Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
andmiddot;Be confident communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
andmiddot;Have experience applying quality procedures and document control within an engineering design environment
andmiddot;Be proactive, collaborative and comfortable taking ownership of your work
