The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller / CAD CAM Programmer to join a precision engineering company based in Slough.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist with strong programming experience who is confident working with Haas 3 and 5-axis machining centres and Fusion 360.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating Haas CNC milling machines
• Working across 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres
• Offline CAD/CAM programming using Fusion 360
• Producing components from engineering drawings and specifications
• Setting tooling, workholding and machining parameters
• Carrying out first-off inspection and ensuring components meet required tolerances
• Optimising existing programs, tooling and machining processes
• Working independently to manufacture high-quality precision components

Experience Required

• Strong CNC milling experience
• Ability to program, set and operate CNC mills
• Experience with Haas machining centres
• 3-axis and ideally 5-axis machining experience
• Fusion 360 CAD/CAM programming experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds and machining techniques
• Experience within precision or subcontract engineering would be advantageous

Package

• Up to -25 per hour depending on experience
• Day shift
